Carrot Cake Superfood Smoothie with Lemon Zest

This smoothie is full of healthy foods, and the lemon in it makes it taste like carrot cake. This smoothie tastes just like dessert and is good for you because it has Greek yogurt, carrots, and oats in it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of carrots, chopped
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions:

In a blender, put in rolled oats, Greek yogurt, honey, ground cinnamon and nutmeg, pumpkin seeds, lemon zest, and chopped carrots

Add the almond milk and ice cubes if you want it to be colder and thicker

Blend until smooth and creamy

If you need to, add more almond milk or ice cubes to get the thickness you want

Put some of the Carrot Cake Superfood Smoothie into a glass

If you want, you can decorate it with extra lemon zest or cinnamon
