Prosciutto-Stuffed Chicken Bake
This Prosciutto-Stuffed Chicken Bake is a tasty treat made with soft chicken breasts and the rich tastes of prosciutto, mozzarella, and spinach. This dish is simple and classy, perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special event.
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices of prosciutto
- 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup of baby spinach
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup of chicken broth
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
Cut a pocket into each chicken breast with a sharp knife
Put two slices of prosciutto, one slice of mozzarella cheese, and a handful of baby spinach inside each chicken breast
If you need to, you can use toothpicks to close the holes
Season the stuffed chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning
Rub them with olive oil from the outside
In a baking dish, put the chicken breasts that have been stuffed
Put chicken broth into the baking dish
After the oven is hot, bake the chicken for 25 to 30 minutes, or until it is fully cooked and the juices run clear
