Garlic Butter Asparagus with Crispy Parmesan

This Garlic Butter Asparagus with Crispy Parmesan recipe is a delicious and elegant side dish thats perfect for any occasion. The combination of tender asparagus, aromatic garlic, and crispy Parmesan cheese is a crowd-pleaser

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of asparagus spears
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish optional

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 425F 220C

Wash and trim the asparagus spears, removing tough ends

In a large oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat

Add minced garlic and saut for about 1 minute until fragrant

Add the asparagus spears to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and toss to coat with the garlic butter

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the asparagus

Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus as well

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 10-15 minutes or until the asparagus is tender and the cheese turns crispy and golden brown

Garnish with fresh parsley if desired

Serve immediately and enjoy
